Our partner, a leading global system integrator with an annual turnover of more than $18B, provides business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services. The core services provided in over 100 countries includes software development, cloud, migration, maintenance, and independent validation services to companies in all verticals including finance, insurance, and manufacturing.
Our partner was awarded a contract in excess of $3B over an 8-year period to provide a huge infrastructure overhaul and migration to a hybrid cloud environment for a leading car manufacturer. This will help to transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across workplace services, service desk, data centre, network, and SAP.
Procurri were asked to provide resource’s initially across multiple sites within Europe to carry out several tasks and be the eyes
and ears onsite for our partner. As there are hundreds of sites, our partner doesn’t have onsite resource in many of the locations, so the scope of the work Procurri carries out can vary utilising local language speaking personnel within region. This ranges from re-booting devices, site surveys, installation of new equipment, and audits through to traditional IMAC projects. This has since expanded into other regions within the US and APAC.
Procurri currently provides around 5 onsite resource each day to the partner to carry out multiple tasks on their behalf. This
is managed through a single pane of glass in the form of the Procurri PS portal. The partner logs in to request availability, upload SOWs and provide site information, while they can also track closed, live, ongoing and scheduled tasks in real time, along with completed site documentation. The backend process of this is fully managed by our dedicated professional services and project management team. As tasks are happening in multiple countries and across different continents, this is pivotal in our partner being able to track progression and manage the project through to completion in real time when they log in each day.
Procurri PS services are helping our partner improve efficiency and communication within the project, this resulting in huge cost savings versus sending their own team to site. As the project progressed, our partner identified sites where they need a dedicated FE on a longer time basis to meet the daily needs of the business. Procurri is now providing multiple services within the customer estate such as Procurri break fix maintenance and ITAD services to provide the full lifecycle service suite.
